Otters with leaves on their heads

Is this Otter Fashion?

Otters are silly and fun, and playing with leaves can be silly and fun! It feels very on brand for otters to me.
I'm also sure otters recognize that stuff on heads makes everything better, leaves included.

This otter is clearly people watching, and they are camouflaging themselves using a leaf. The otter doesn't know they aren't very well hidden, but we don't want to upset the otter and we want to see them again, so we'll just make that our little secret.

Perhaps the leaves also enjoy it.

We all love otters here, it's good to have another otter lover around. I, for one, definitely lose a couple IQ points when in presence of otters. It takes up a lot of brain resources to process all that is otter.

Interesting question. If you would keep adding leaves you would get a pile of leaves, which is much more valuable than one leaf. Of course, how many leaves is enough for a pile of leaves?

You know salad does seem pretty comfy but I've never had one big enough to try sleeping in. A salad bowl would be the ideal size for an otter so they could sleep in it and enjoy snacking on it at the same time.

Do you think salads are healthy for otters too?

So we have leaves on heads, but what about flowers below noses? Could be worth additional research.

Interesting proposal. I only have this specimen, but the flower is slightly above the nose. Do you have some more examples?
